Jonathan Schwartz
President of Interlock Media Inc., Schwartz produces public radio and television and hard news primarily on environmental themes. His films on race and equity include "Faith in the Big House", "Dive Kulture" and "Turned Out". Schwartz grew up in the civil rights movement and participated in Freedom Schools. He has a degree in History from Brown University.
Katani Sumner
Katani Sumner began her academic journey as a METCO student in the Lexington Public Schools. While fresh out of the Ivy League, she joined the corporate world and broke new ground for African-Americans. Katani's talents are far-reaching, from R&B singer to teacher and METCO counselor for Newton South High School. Sumner is married to Rev. B. Chris Sumner.


Erik Angra, director of photography
The son of Indian immigrants, cinematographer Vikass 'Erik' Angra is also a documentary filmmaker. Angra began his career touring alongside hardcore punk musicians in the US. He is the youngest person to earn sole credit for editing a Ken Burns documentary.


Howard Wolk, executive producer
Co-President of The Cross Country Group. Wolk films include "Keep and Remember" and "On the Line". Wolk has a JD from Columbia Law School and an MPA from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.


Sean Strelow, editor
Sean Strelow, editor, is an avid disciple of the craft of filmmaking. He uses his technical abilities, and his knack with shape, movement, rhythm, editing, and color to tell compelling stories. Always trying to learn new skills and better his art, Sean will never settle for "just ok."


Mike Mascoll, co-producer
Creative Director and CEO of LEV Media Group, specializing in media production, documentary film-making & engagement management services. Mike is a native Bostonian who began his academic journey as a METCO student in the Lexington Public School System. His collegiate years were spent at Boston College. He was the Director of "On The Line".


Rob Trombino, color grading
Proud father to Conner Trombino, he works as a freelance artist, both collaboratively and independently, performing post-production, finishing and delivery on projects for film, video, broadcast, print, and the web.


Greg McCleary, sound mix
Two-time Emmy nominee and Jackson Hole Wild Life Film Festival winner, Greg McCleary is the owner of Heart Punch Studio, Inc. After graduating from the Massachusetts College of Art, McCleary spent his early career as a location sound recordist. McCleary believes collaboration with all members of a production team is essential. "No film is just about one specific craft - it is always the sum of all the players".


Naheem Garcia, narrator
Naheem Garcia has been an actor on stage and screen. Born in Cuba, Garcia moved to Boston at a very young age. Garcia has appeared in "Equalizer 2", "Daddy's Home 2", "Black Mass", and Showtime's "SMILF". Naheem has remained committed to the Boston area, waiting for the right projects to cross his path in the community he has worked so hard to better.


Michael Moss, sound mix
Michael Moss is an assistant professor in the Department of Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music. He is the founder and owner of Soundscape Productions, audio production facility specializing in audio for educational, medical, and technology fields.


Ashley Farmer, scholar
Professor of Black Women's and Intellectual History. Currently Assistant Professor in the Departments of History and African Diaspora Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. Formerly on faculty at Boston University.


U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo, scholar
U-Meleni Mhlaba-Adebo is a performance artist, storyteller, and poet, author of the poetry collection "Soul Psalms". She is also an educator with extensive teaching experience in Boston Public schools, colleges, and communities. She holds a Masters's degree in Education from Lesley University and is an active member of the New England Poetry Club and an advisory board member for Write On The Dot.
